How to embed a YouTube video on your webpage

For my Marine Biology class project, I created a video demonstrating ocean deoxygenation and its consequences. The video is called Ocean Deoxygenation.

Step-by-step instructions

• 1. Open the link to your Youtube video. Below the player is an option to Share your video

  

• 2. Select the option named Embed

  

• 3. A dialog box will open containing the HTML code to embed in your site. Select the code and copy it using CTRL-C

  

• 4. Insert the code in your web page to embed a player for the video you selected. Here is what the embedded code on this page looks like
